DrinkEats (DRINK EATS, ABN 50 125 744 601) lets you order ahead at local food shops and keep your orders and receipts in one place. This page says what we keep, why, and how to delete it.

What we keep

If you make an account: your email or mobile (to log in), your first name (so the shop knows whose order it is), a scrambled copy of your password (we can't read it), and a list of the orders you save: the shop, date, items, total and a link to Square's receipt.

When you order, the shop gets your first name and mobile so they can text you when it's ready. If you haven't made an account, we keep a short note of the order for 30 days so you can save it to an account, then it's deleted.

What we never keep

Card details. Payments are made with Square, who hold your card details under their own security rules. We don't keep your address, date of birth or location.

Who else sees it

The shop you order from (only your own orders with them), Square (payments and receipts), Mobile Message (to send texts) and Cloudflare (where our service runs). We don't sell your details or share them with anyone else. We don't send marketing texts or emails unless you say yes.

Your choices

In Settings you can change your name and password, download everything we hold about you, and delete your account. Deleting is immediate. An account with no orders for 2 years is deleted automatically.
